KemperLesnik: Chicago, IL

Public Relations Intern | june-August 2019

My internship experience at KemperLesnik was not a run-of-the-mill internship — I was valued as an active team member and my contributions were impactful. As a Public Relations Intern, I wrote thoughtful press releases, crafted and managed media lists, directly pitched to reporters, and communicated with 10+ of the agency’s clients. In addition, I composed blog posts and other written content for clients to feature on their own websites and social media outlets.

Jewish United Fund: Chicago, IL

marketing and design intern | june-august 2018

This internship was organized by the Lewis Summer Internship Program — a selective summer program where students have the opportunity to gain professional experience. I was able to work in-house at the JUF to work on both the marketing and the design teams. I created visual content for the JUF to feature across their advertisements, newsletters, flyers, invitations, and social media sites. By utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud software, I crafted over 20 unique designs to be featured on various publications and platforms. In addition, I collaborated with my team to discover new impactful tactics to reach their target audience.

Spoon University: Madison, WI

marketing committee | january 2017- present

On the marketing committee, I have leveraged my media and photography skills to create captivating images for Spoon to feature across advertisements and social media platforms. This club is really fun as it merges two things I love — food and advertising. Be sure to check out the work I’ve done for Spoon University on my portfolio page!

Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority: Madison, WI

vp new member educator | nov 2017- dec 2018

As an active member of advertising club, I attend and participate in weekly workshops to listen to seasoned professionals speak upon their experiences in the advertising field. I also participate in membership activities to increase engagement such as food drives and speed networking events.

My time as Vice President of New Member Education allowed me to develop my leadership, communication, organizational, and professional skills. I constructed, implemented and lead a comprehensive semester-long education program to help ease the new members’ transition into the chapter. In addition, I independently designed a new member handbook to guide the members through their first semester in the organization.
